A blended malt from Douglas Laing made by vatted together a cask or Mortlach with a cask of Laphroaig - two very different whiskies from very different regions.

Tasting Notes

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

 

Nose: Linseed oil, barley malt and peat smoke. Hints of salty butter and gingerbread.

 

Palate: Barley sugar, stewed fruit, burnt sugar, sticking plasters and soft wood smoke.

 

Finish: Long and spicy with an oily, smoky character and plenty of sweetness on the tail.
